The Grammy winning artists are noted for being one of the most influential hip-hop groups in the 1990s. Fugees are responsible for creating one of the best selling albums of all time, titled “The Score”. The album features the silhouettes (and voices) of hip-hop trio Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel, and Lauryn Hill.
In honor of their album’s 25th anniversary, the album was given a facelift equipped with a custom set of type and a brick-styled pattern. In reference to the masonry-styled archetecture of Maplewood NJ, the birthplace of the legendary group, the redesign intends to abstract the original album while also calling back on the roots of the Fugees themselves.
